TLC Servicing

Hi, I'm a new LC owner. I wanted a 97, but my wife liked the 100 series more, so we got a 99. I liked the looks better, and I know a few people that have the 97, but definitely more than satisfied with the 99!! Anyway, just wondering about servicing it. It has 45k miles on it, so I had a coolant, and transmission flush. What about carbon cleaning? I've read, that due to the fuel, junk can accummulate and cut power a mileage, is there any truth to this? What else might be done, and when? I just want to take care of it, and make it last! Thanks
