Exclamation hub problem on 1990 Lumina

We are working on our 1990 Lumina and cannot get the hub to come off. Is there some big secret to getting the thing off of there? Need to replace the studs so any info would be appreciated. Thx.

Front or back? if front, is the axle out? are all the bolts out that fasten the whole hub on the strut out?
Never had a Lumina hub off, are these too close to other parts to remove/replace studs with the hub on the car?

Why do you want to remove the hub to change the studs???

I think you need to remove the hub to change the studs, or at least, loosen it. It's been a while, but I seem to remember a clearance issue. There are 4 bolts to remove from the rear (I think they're 15mm, but could be wrong). Then, remove the large CV shaft nut. The hub (with a little influencing) should come off then.

Oh. I've never put 'em in a Lumina. All of them I've ever done could be done if part of the head of the new stud was ground off, just enough to angle it into position. I don't know on the Lumina, though.
