2 questions. Interior Lights & Sterio.

I have two questions.

Interior Lights: I don't have interior lights in my 95 sc2. It's not the park fuse and it's not the switch as I saw that everything was connected correctly. It's not the bulbs either... anyone know what it could be?

Sterio: My sterio is locked. There was a code written down in the book but I don't know if it works. My sterio says "loc" and not "Sec" like it says it should say in the book. It also says to press and hold in 5 & 6 for 5 seconds to bring up a 0000 code, but that won't work either. I disconnected the battery for 15 minutes and took out the fuse also, but it still says "loc." Help me please.

frist, start by checking ALL of your fuses , start with the CHIME fuse

Sorry but sterEo
yeah check all your fuses, especially ending in LP or LPs (lamps)
just checked couldn't find a chime fuse in the fuse relay panel though... is there a weird shorthand for it?

the radio is probably a simple fix, I believe that the lock code comes up after too many inncorrect codes have been tried...
not sure how to fix that though, thought it was just like try again in a few days...
You might wont to try actually unplugging the radio and taking it out,
Post again if time doesn't fix the problem.
May be a more serious electrical problem than can be diagnosed here,
Check for loose or disconnected ground wires or other wires even unrelated to your radio and lamps...

it's not the fuses.....
I checked them all and no go.
What about... I don't have a headliner.. and nothing on my roof-- I just put in my front lights and sunroof motor, but I know theres another light right behind the sunroof.. may that be affecting my dash lights?

and forget about the sterio.. I bought a headunit

Check those wires GOOD, you MAY have a bad wire running from one of those, are they working properly?

May be too advanced for you, but your dome light's white wire should be run to your Instrument Panel Junction Box Connection #2285 (should be under your steering column) pin B3 with the two orange wires going to F4 and F7 and your sun roof motor's pink wire runs to the same place but pin F3

Sorry If I lost you there...

If spliced into the wrong places these "could" be your problem, if I was there I could help you more

Good Luck tracing thoses wires,
