Diamond Plated Tool Box

sometime in the spring/summer i was thinking about gettin a diamond plated tool box. i don't think i need the full size one that goes along the back window, but wanted to know if anyone knows if there is a smaller type one like that? maybe one that sits on the side of corner of the box.

thanks.

Re: Diamond Plated Tool Box

Go to the Stylin Concepts web site. They have a tool box that fits between the tailgate and the wheel well and below the lip of the bed. It leaves the main floor open for use and stays partially hidden. Is that what you are looking for?

Re: Diamond Plated Tool Box

They make tool boxes that run along the cab like the ones you mentioned along the glass. But they make a flush mounted box that set down below the lip of the bed. This is the type i have and it is diamond plate. In my opinion these look much better and they hold nearly as much as the bigger boxes that sit up above.

Re: Diamond Plated Tool Box

Check out United Welding Services...if they have a website. I personally know these have got to be the strongest toolboxes you can buy besides a cam-locker which is like $500. I've driven on top of mine before and it didn't hurt it... (yes it was an accident). They have tons of different styles to choose from.

Re: Diamond Plated Tool Box

No problem there either. The tops of these boxes is actually insulated, depending on which line you decide to buy. The blue label is the most popular. I've had 3 of these boxes on different vehicles

Yea, I was gonna get a weatherguard flushmount with 3/8 in. diamond plate. But someone ripped offf all my tools two weeks ago, so I guess I don't need one now. What I need is to kill some thieves, or permently disable them.
