wat are you looking to achieve? just looks or performance? I went with just looks and got me a Arospeed dual outlet muffler. sounds and looks fanatastic!!! and for a mere $150-$250 installed (depends where you are) who cares. should probably look for a duals stage muffler/exhaust if you're looking for performance.

if your looking for perfomance, and dont mind a little loudness go with an Apex'i N1 with a custom cat pipe (your muffler shop will make the pipe). the N1's are a little loud, but no where near as loud and trebley as say a 5zigen fireball which has that annoying braaaaaaaaaaaatttttttttttt sound. the N1 seems to work well with most 4 bangers. peace.

Greddy EVO exhaust
Well, Greddy just released the cat-back EVO for the 99-up, although I am not certain with the 2K1 models..

I was thinking of looking into muffler and exhuast also. I like the dual pipe look but hate that BRRRAAAAAAHHHHH sound too. I would prefer that low moan like on the M3....
Any pics of that Dual exhaust muffler you got ?

I want the look and performance but i dont want it to be really loud. Does anyone know of any exhausts that are not that loud? Also I heard that the dual exhaust dont gain as much hp as the single on a 4 cyl car.

if you mean dual exhaust as in having 2 seperate mufflers, then yes, that is correct...
but if you mean a dual outlet muffler over a single outlet, i'm not sure if theres really a big difference..

for those of you looking for deep tone or just good looks, get an Arospeed muffler like I did. I have the dual outlet one that has a square-like circle bores. they sound fantastic and look GREAT. I paid like $250 installed. shop did it as I waited for 1 hour or less.
it's a deep tone and not too loud at all. I hate loud exhausts because it reminds me those annoying civics that are loud but don't accelerate... as for performance, it feels that I lost the lower RPM torque as my P11 is a AT. high RPM is okay.

Arospeed? Never heard of it. But I just installed my Remus exhaust on my '95 g20T. I loved every second of it! The engineering of the Remus is superb! The muffler is tilted 30 to 45 degrees upon installation but the exhaust tip still show upright
Sound of it? Love every second of it. Matter of fact, I drove around longer than I should just to hear the sound. Sound? What sound? It is not as intrusive as Greddy I used to have on my 200SX SER. It will let you know it is there... In fact, my tires are louder than the exhaust on the highway!!!
Ha, ha, ha, ha.... The engine pulled harder to the redline now...

coool! remus is the way da go. but for me, I didn't wanna spend $500+ for an exhaust. not sure if remus carries one for P11...??
arospeed is a cheap way to go just for looks and sound. it's a nice lookin' muffler, to tell you the truth.
