2005 Ext Cab, Sqeaking / Creaking Between Doors

I have a new 2005 extended cab C1500 that's got a squeaking noise (like a squeaky floor or creaking old staircase) coming from the top of the doors where they come together when they close. (Right next to my left ear!). Mostly on the drivers side. It seems to be coming from the rubber weather stripping rubbing against the metal, or maybe the plastic interior. It varies a little, but is usually pretty constant as I drive over normal paved roads, and is much worse as I go over bumpy areas.

Anyone else have this problem? I'm going to take it back to the dealer, but I'm anticipating them telling me they can't do anything about it.

Thanks!

Greg

Rub a little white lithium grease on the rubber seal going around the door. That should quiet the noise. Good luck!
