whats the differences in the accord and prelude?mike5721947 02-19-2005, 03:37 PM im looking at a accord but am having trouble finding a standard in my price range, and am wondering about the differences between the prelude and accord years 86-89 im looking as body style and preformance upgrades. this is going to be (im sorry) riced out sligtly (wing and slammed) im wanting something i can insure for a good price but i can still have it hang it all out when im wanting to race. im looking for a standard 5 speed transmission. nbr1nthuzyst 02-20-2005, 05:23 PM The prelude is a far better handler... Its has an active tourque transfer, something or other, that varies tourque output from the front left to the front right tire ((depending on traction, and direction of turn)) the accord has nuthing of the sort... Poer wise i would go with the accord v6 hope it helps Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
