My CD PLAYER (HELP NEEDED)

my cd player wont play. i tried to rut a cd into the player and it keeps rejecting it saying "check cd." i have tried to clean the lens with a cd lens cleaner, but the problem wont go away. there are no codes coming up and i need immediate help from anyone who knows what is going on.

i had the same problem with my CD player , its a pioneer. i took the CD player out and unplugged it then plugged it back in and it workes fine . I also had the problem where CD's would not come out . i did the same thing and when you plug it back in the CD comes right out.

so how would i unhook the factory cd from the vehicle.

you have to take everything around your cd player off .......and the cd player should pull right out and just unhook the electrical connecter and plug it back in........ do you have a repair manual for your car ? if you do or you can get your hands on one it will tell you step by step what to do. I live in canada (ontario) here the books cost 20.00 and its made by Haynes.
