95 ignition switch replacement help

How much of a job is it to change the ignition switch on my 95 K2500? Do you need any special tools?

Re: 95 ignition switch replacement help

I'd recommend buying a repair manual. Makes the job much easier, and there's pictures to look at. Replacing the ignition switch on my 86 was pretty easy. Just had to take off the cover under the steering column, remove the bolts holding the steering column up, and take two other electrical things off. Took about an hour.

When you buy something... a bottle of pop for example, who gets the profit from it and what do they do with it? Maybe your money's going to groups that want to hurt you. I think everyone should do a search for things they purchase regularly "____ supports". Might just find a company you won't buy stuff from anymore.
