Do all of these cold air intake systems really work? It seems like they are set up to draw air from within the engine compartment where the air is warm. Also does it still allow all of the vacume and sensor hookups?

Please let me know as I am thinking of buying one.

Thanks

COLD air intake takes in the cold air, not the warm engine bay air. Regular intakes suck air that is level with the engine, with the exception of a heat shield. Cold air intakes have a longer tube that goes down in front of the car, so it sucks cold air, not hot. It is positioned for that exact reason, because cold air is more dense, henceforth, more air can squeeze into the engine. More air... More POWER.
