Replacing any of the solenoids in a 4T65E tranny is not an easy job and not classified as DIY. That solenoid along with PCS, TCC-PWM, and the 1-2 upshift are located under the tranny side cover assembly on the driver's side of the car. The ATF must be drained. The air box and PCM have to be removed along with everything in the way. The driver's side axle half shaft will also have to be removed which means just about everything on the driver's side wheel. Also you will need new side cover gaskets and the side cover bolts must be properly torqued to specifications upon re-assembly.
Typically, a tranny shop will probably charge around $400 - $500.
