Front wheel burnouts.
I have a 95 GP and i saw i video of camaros, trans ams and corvettes sitting there and haveing their back tires spinning and creating tons of smoke. i was wondering if i could do that in my GP. the only diffrence is that i have front wheel drive. could i just push the breaks and give it gas and have my front wheels spin and make smoke?

I like that "your tranny guy". Now that's funny, I don't care who you are.

Re: Re: Front wheel burnouts.
See I told you so.
How's the kids? For everyone that doesn't know. Two of John's kids were in a car accident. Some asshole doing drugs hit the car they where in. Been sitting up nights thinking of things I want to do to him.
Hope the kids are doing well.

Thanks Jim. The kids are fine just a little banged up. I hope that asshole rots in a jail cell for a long time. Not a very good pic of the van but the best I could manage considering the impound lot was closed when I got there.

Damn, They were lucky to walk away from that. I'm glad the cop was there to see it happen. I still say if I was the cop, I'd shot him. Said he was trying to get away.
Take care John. Tell the kids out thoughts are with them.

Re: Front wheel burnouts.
set your parking/emergency brake. that will engage only the back brakes and you can burn out the front end all you want. just make sure that you have em sent really well and dont just floor it, your car will probably have enough power to drag it a little bit.

Re: Re: Front wheel burnouts.
Well get out of your driveway.
These guys are doing burn outs at a dragway. They run thur "water boxes". The used to use beach, but the smell would make you sick.
Take the car out to some lot. Take a gal. of water with you. Pour some under the right wheel. Hold the break, give it some gas. Now you more then likely don't have enough power to do the burns that those guys do. But if you don't light them up. SELL YOUR CAR!

Re: Front wheel burnouts.
Who need's a water box
You can make a kit, from a windshield washer bottle with a pump and then run the 2 hose to the fenderwells and pump away on the tires. If you really want to waste your tires That was in an old Hot Rod mag along time ago, 101 cheap trick's.

Re: Re: Front wheel burnouts.
What part of "water on the tires" don't you get?
Have you ever jumped on the gas on a rainy day? Tires spin. They do that till you dry out the payment. Then your tires start to heat up fast. Then they burn. Smoke can off them as the burn.
Larry,
Do you have anything to add to this?
