Unhappy Front End Vibration-Drivetrain?

For the last 8 or 9 months my 1994 740i has front end vibration on a cold start. The vibration can be so exagerated that the steering wheel vibrates. After the car warms up all signs of vibration disapppear. Could this be the drive train problem, high end camshaft vibration, cold tire pressure. I'm baffled?? The car is now at 91,500 and has the replaced 740 engine. Otherwise, the car peerforms flawlessly in city traffic and on the highway at high speeds.

Front-end shimmy

Have your master brake cylinder and front brake calipers checked. I had the same problem on an 88 735.

My mechanic, a former BMW master mechanic has advised me its the center bearing annd the guibo (flex disc) on the driveshaft. I understated the vibration problem. It now feels as if the whole car vibrates while I once only felt it in the steering wheel. We're going to try a repair using these parts. thanks for the reply.
