I have 1999 grand prix 3.1l SE.... recently i have some problems with my blower (first 4 speeds) headlights going off etc. I know i have to change ignition switch, but i have no idea which one is good for my car. Only AC Delco makes like 15 kinds for this model and they all look the same. Does anyone can give me some link or maybe gm part number???? Do I have to replace blower resistor too???

Here is what use to happen ,when I worked in the part's department.

Go into your local Pontiac parts department and let them know that you would like to replace the Ignition switch harness and how much is it going to cost.They will need a bit of information,because in a 99 SE 3.1, IIRC they list 5 different one's.If they dont have that one in stock or one is in stock,ask them for the part # and say that it will save them time looking it up next time,because you left your check book at home (oh dumb me) or you will have to wait till payday.Then you can go to www.gmpartsdirect.com and enter in the part # and save some buck's.
