sixers check it out...
im sure you v-8 guys wont care too much but the sixers should read on.
if you havent already, look into swappin out the stock two-piece steel driveshaft for a one-piece aluminum. over the weekend mine came in and it was at least 11lbs lighter than the stock (i used a bathroom scale so it might be more).
i read that the reason chevy used the two-piece is to dampen the vibrations that the v-6 engines produced with normal operation, but i put my shaft in and the car runs smoother than it ever did before (havent put it on the highway yet so we'll see). cars a good deal faster too, just thought you all would like to know...

Re: sixers check it out...
i dont like tellin people that...actually mine was like 500 bucks cause i had to get it custom cut from the company i got my rear-end from. i know that LPE sells a 3.5" from the lingenvette for like 320 or something. you could look into the stock 1LE aluminum from the eighters, those are generally around 200. no matter which way someone goes they are all better than stock...

Re: sixers check it out...
what size did you get? (I had to think for a few minutes on how to avoid any comments based on "how big is yours" etc)
