I just looked at this car today its a 1999 Grandam SE 4cyl coupe with 98500 miles on it the car lot wants $3999 for it. Good price? Anything I should check what are common problems with these cars? Thanks I would appriciate any advice on this car...

Well its right between Private party and dealer http://www.edmunds.com/used/1999/pon...um3.1.pontiac* ,, so you may be able to talk them down a little. Also its hard to say without actually checking a car out what could be wrong with it. Your best bet is to take it to a shop you trust and have them give it a OK. Good Luck and welcome to the forum.
