Have you checked your brake fluid resevoir and seen if it was up to level?

Also, what do you mean by "weak"?

okay well its full of fuild however i took it to 5 or so shops all say its fine but i refuse to accpet that it feels like if i were to slam on the brakes it won't lock but if i do it will lock however its like you do not know how hard you can push it at speed without locking em i want to make it nice and firm like new cars where you can push it and know how far you can push it before locking em
for quick stops

it feels well mushy i am not a professanl i am trying to expain to the best of my abailys i have heard this is a common prob. with 4x4's hope that helps

Re: 85 t15 jimmy brake prob.

Brake lines will not help this.

Is the brakes locking up prematurely now?

no but on a side note you cannot predect from feel how hard you can depress the pedal without locking them for expample on a reg car a new one you can sense you are at the limits before a lockup well you cannot feel that sesne on it it would be nice to so i can feel it and be able to push the limit before lockup for panic stops cuz as people know locking is bad

Re: 85 t15 jimmy brake prob.

You are asking the impossible and you have to learn the threashold of your truck's braking system.

There is no way to adjust them to your tastes.
