Most people install the head unit of the SAFC in the interior and extend the wiring harness to the ECU.

here is the way i install the APEXi AFC in a MR2........

1) open package
2) take AFC unit into kitchen
3) open cupboard under sink
4) toss AFC into trash can ;)

these 4 simple steps will save thousands of dollars and countless headaches.........

You weren’t asked your opinion, you weren’t asked what would you of done, you weren’t asked how many steps its going to take to save thousands of dollars, you were asked if there’s another way to install an APEXi AFC in an MR2.
Toyo, yes, you can install it in your dash board were your ashtray is, and run the weirs through the center panel; I have a friend that’s done it that way. Hope that helped, this is an old post.

... seeing as this thread is a year old, I suspect the original poster already made his decision :)

As for Josh's comments (mister3), he owns an MR2 performance company is only looking out for the best interests of people in the community. The SAFC is not an ideal choice for the 3SGTE.

I think this thread doesn't need any more controversy.
