I have a 97 cavy z24 with the 2.4 L engine. Can someone please tell me where to locate the spark plugs in this car? Thanks..

There are four b;ack rubber things these are the boots and do the job of a spark lead. You need to replace these boots also. Just pull these out with a pair of needle nose pliers and the plugs are underneath that! No engine has built in plugs! They are there!!! IDI means Integrated Direct Igntion. Everthing, coils etc are all built in to the underside of this plate. This metal prongs sit in the 2-part boots and the boot on the plugs! It even says the plug torque on the valve cover so you should have guessed by that that there are spark plugs in there. Good luck! It's also a pain inthe ass to put back on!

Always good to help. The boots if you haven't replaced them should be replaced if not just cleaned up.
