hub help please!

ok, so i am working on a 1996 pontiac grand am with a 3.1 liter engine. The steering bearing was bad so i went to napa to get a new one, and all they sell is the hub assembly. well i took the one off the car and i was gonna go put the new one on, but i dont know if i need to grease the new piece. I think there is already grease in the bearings, but i dont know if i need to grease the back of the piece before instalation. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
