manual box from b18a in b20a will it fit?

will the manual box from a b18a fit into a b20a the b20a alredy has a auto which needs the boot we have the gear box from the b18a out on in the shed but will it fit? and whats the best way to go about getting the auto out and the manual in?

Yes the transmission will fit. You will need to get a bunch of parts off the same car you are doing the swap on with a manual transmission, like ecu, clutch resevior and master cylinder, clutch fluid lines, and pedal assembly. Shifter and shift linkage will also be needed.

Dont forget you will also need to take out the flex plate and put in a pilot bearing in the end of the crank, and a flywheel and a clutch with the throw out bearing will also be needed. Also check to make sure that the axles and intermediate shaft will work in the manual transmission and if not then you are going to need some manual axles and a manual intermediate shaft. Also dont quote me on this but I think the B18A transmission is a cable transmission. The transmission that you have is from a 90-93 LS. Therefore you will not need the clutch master cylinder or reservoir or slave cylinder for that matter. If you want to utilize the hydraulic manual transmission setup you will need a transmission from a B18B, which is the 94-01 LS transmission.
