removing injector wires for IMG replacement

sounds simple enough with the instructions given, (unhook the injector wiring from each injector)but I'm having a tough time removing the individual injector wires. Does anyone know the trick. Thanks in advance for any advice.

On my 1999, there is a light blue tab on one side of the connector. Lift the tab up about a 1/4 " and then push the black tab (located in the center of the blue tab) toward the connector while lifting up. Be careful how much pressure you use to prevent breaking the connector or the injector.

Hope this helps.
