Snapped driver's sideview mirror on my 2002 Yukon Denalimonogee 02-08-2005, 09:26 PM I snapped the driver's sideview mirror on my 2002 Yukon Denali the other day while pulling it away from the car. Now there is no tension on the mirror to hold it in place. Does anyone know what I need to fix it? Is it a spring or something or do I have to get the whole mirror replaced? Thanks. Eggert 02-09-2005, 07:57 PM Hi, I am not sure on what happened. Can you please provide more detail? Thanks, Eggert :bananasmi monogee 02-10-2005, 09:56 AM Hi, I am not sure on what happened. Can you please provide more detail? Thanks, Eggert :bananasmi I had the sideview mirror turned in towards the car. When I went to pull it back out before getting in the car, something snapped. Now the sideview mirror has no tension in it, meaning it is loose(It swings freely and I have to keep adjusting the mirror). Thanks Eggert 02-10-2005, 07:16 PM Hi,please look at this thread for mirror procedures http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=360362 May be you can see, if something came unhooked or is broken. Take care, Eggert :bananasmi attackdog 02-12-2005, 01:42 AM Hello monogee. If you can't repair your mirror, I think I have one that may fit for cheap. Let me know if you need it. Good luck.
