96 Cirrus Door Chime

My door chime on my car will not stop. There are no doors open and no matter how hard you shut the doors it will not stop chiming. It's drivings us crazy. Does anyone know how to disable this? Thanks this is my first post.

Re: 96 Cirrus Door Chime

The only way to shut off the door chime is to disconnect the BCM, and if you do that, you won't have an instrument cluster, HVAC controls, radio, power seats (if equipped) and not even start. Does the chime occur at one particular door or is doing it at all times disregarding which door it is?

Open one door at a time, and try jiggling the door switches around to see if there is a bad switch...

It will be a small post that you can push in, but if you take it and jiggle it around like a joystick, that might help you find out if there is a bad switch in one of the doors.
