Hi, I'm new to this forum, and was wondering if anyone knows what the stock spring rates are for a 91 MR2 turbo. I am getting new springs and want to lower the car, but not to much. Need better performance for autox, but don't want them so stiff that I bounce down the hwy. Just want to compare stock rates to various aftermarket spring rates. Thanks

why not just get some that are already designed correctly for the car: like H&R or Tein or TRD?

I've considered Eibach Pro Kit, H&R, RSR, Tien, Tanabe.Eibach and H&R being the most expensive, so probably not. I just wondered what the actual comparisson kg/mm would be when they claim 20-30% higher spring rate than stock. Also there is Tokico Illumina 5 way struts on the car from when I got it. I really like those. I understand that springs and struts should be matched.
