Take a look at this OBX header

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33631

yes e-bay. So far I've only ordered vanity parts coughricepartscough. but I've not ordered a performance part from there. take a look guys... tell me what you all think of this OBX header for the 2.4L?

personally I don't see how this thing will fit. there's not much room near the exhaust manifold.

maybe it's all in my head? haha head.. header...... bad joke.. maybe the pictures don't do it justice? anyways, opinions please?

Re: Take a look at this OBX header

If it's made for the LD9 it will fit. check the diam of the collector as you'll want to match the cat to it and then the system to the cat. I would n't buy 'em e-bay personally because you can never be sure what you are getting! Could even be a racing header 4-2-1 with no space for a cat!

I take comfort in the fact there are people on this board smarter than I.

I'd better hold off until I figure out whether or not this actually fits. Thanks guys.

Alright I got some numbers here

1 1/2" diameter tubing with 2 1/4" collector.

I've never bought performance headers before so this is new territory to me.. >.> Opinions please?

The CAT is likely to have 2" in and out so wouldn't bolt straight up. Pacesetter has a hi-flow cat with 2.5" diam at a good price! Then you need the cat back! 2.5" system

oy. I'll see what OBX has direct. my aftermarket catback system is from them so I'll do some shopping. I'd better get my measuring down. eh it can wait till this weekend...

5 minutes later and another post. sheesh. Yeah I took a look at my cheat sheet for my car's mods and it's an OBX r catback exhaust system type H to be exact. I just need to measure the diameter of the pipe and see where to go from there. I'm almost sure there will be some degree of fabrication somewhere along the line....
