turn signal question

I have an 02 Civic that has about 40K miles on it. Recently, the blinkers died. All 4 of them. The 4ways still worked, though. I checked the fuse, and it was blown, and I replaced it. In the past 3 days it has blown two fuses, though it works for awhile after I replace it. All the bulbs work fine. What could be causing this?
