Tiny Light

I finally got my dash lights working again. Thanks to all who helped me here. I have a 97 rodeo 4cyc manual and there are 4 button switches on the dash, one for rear wipers emergency flashers, rear defroster and one other. There is a tiny bulb thats inside each one. I removed the one that dosen't work ( three work) to try to take the bulb out but it broke, maybe its all one piece? I called the dealer and went to radio shack with no luck.

The light is probably a part of the switch. You might have to replace the switch if you want the light to work again, but I'm not sure.

You can buy replacement LEDs from here. Scroll down to the "T1.5 Instrument LED bulb". You can either buy white ones and put the colored sleeves on or buy the respective color for each switch.

What color bulb do you think was originally in there?

The rear washer, rear wiper and cruise main are white with a green sleeve, the one for the emergency flasher is white without a sleeve (since the hazard symbol is red). The defrost and rear hatch release switches have two bulbs each, one is white with a green sleeve and one white without a sleeve (for the amber and red lights that indicate the defrost being on or the rear hatch being open).

I hope that makes sense.

Ordered a couple of the bulbs, took dash apart again and they don't fit the emergency button switch on dash. It was too big, so just eight bucks and some time gone.
