CRX vs. Mustang 5.0

Who you think will win? we got some serious money on this, ive got a hundred bucks riding on this race. a buddy of mine has a 88 5.0 LX. He's got right around 450hp. He has a Vortec Supercharger, 3:73's, an X 303 cam, and all the bolt ons there are. Ive got a CRX, ive got right about 290-300 hp. my car weighs only 1,800lbs. Ive got a GSR engine, a turbonetics T3/T4 turbo, cams, pulleys, gears, aem intake, fuel management system, and im waiting for the venom nitrous set up. Let me know what you think. we both run mid to high 11's.

I just think you will win because it's a honda and i want you to win. naw but really i think you will win because of your weight advantage.

His weight advantage is going to do nothing for him, considering he said they BOTH run mid to high 11s. Im thinking its gonna be a drivers race really....whoever hooks up the best/first will probably win..i dunno What psi are you running? You could always just crank it up a few psi for this one race, as "insurance"

its gonna be rididng on whoever gets the better wholeshot, if you both run the same times more or less, then its whoever gets off the line first will win, unless of unforseen problems arise.

id put the psi up a lil, too, but dont damage ur engine. Godd luck.

GO CRX!!

yeah, if you both run the same times its gonna come down to the driver. but anyway, good luck. don't be silly and blow your engine for a $100 bet. unless your pride is worth a grand or two .

Better hope that mustang peels out a lil too much or swerve. If you guys both run the same time...one lil mistake is one big advantage to the other driver. Good luck

P.S.
take it to the track or just be safe
