Moonroof interior sliderKnifeblade_03 02-04-2005, 09:39 PM K, anyone having hassles with the moonroof interior slider jumping off it's tracks??? And, if so any idea on quick fix??? It's g/f's car, I ain't going at it sans some idea or she'll scalp what little I still have left, . Knifeblade_03 02-07-2005, 08:31 AM I should probably clarify. The hassle is the interior slider, the one with the handle, covered with the headliner material, that manuallly slides over to cover the interior from the glass roof. It has two tits, for lack of better word, one each side, that run in a small rail under the glass roof. One of those tits is off the rail, so now it won't slide fully forward, but stops about 1/3 of the way and won't go any further. Any ideas on how to get that on tit back into the rail without ripping stuff apart? Thanks, Knife noshun 02-07-2005, 11:43 AM I should probably clarify. It should bend enough for you to get it back in but try not to bend it in one particular spot as so not to crease it! Knifeblade_03 02-07-2005, 02:24 PM tried that, buddy, no go, **** thing won't flex enough to get the errant tit back into the rail. sigh. blitz/littledevil 02-07-2005, 03:03 PM is the sunroof manual or electric? if its electric open it about half way or 3/4 and try it from the topside that way you will be able to see the "tits" of it and you should manage then i had the same problem when i first got my car and i fixed it that way vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
