Re: location of 92 rodeo EGR valve

the EGR valve is located behind the TBI unit on the intake manifold. It is shaped kind of like a mushroom and is held in place by 2 10mm bolts. you will also need a replacement mounting gasket available at your local auto parts store

Although it's a crummy picture, the egr is the spaceship looking thing underneath the breather and where the cables meet.

I was leaning into the engine compartment over the driver's side fender to take the pic. There are 2 bolts holding it to the engine. The bolt heads face the right side of the picture (firewall). There is a single hose connected to the egr that has to come off. Some carb cleaner or brake cleaner and a small wire brush is handy to clean it. You should be able to push the vacuum inside the egr easily with your fingers:

HTH,

Steve

ps. Props to imageshack.
