dude, the zonda has an AMG engine to start with, since it was created it had an AMG engine. There is no zonda without an AMG engine. I you thought that, then i guess you don't know crap about the Zonda...

lol... but I can't say I know the most about them... I can hardly seem to be finding any real sources for reading... and I must visit that factory... but it would be probably at least 15 years before I even would get the tiniest of chances.. even then I most likely would never :(

Listen i know that the zonda c-12 s is a great super car and all(one of my top 5) but you've gotta look at it's competiton....for example:
the Koenigsegg CC top's the zonda in many ways, aside from the v-8 engine [not a very good engine] the Koenigsegg CC is very cheap considering,in comparrison with the zonda(350,000) theres a big price gap.the koenigsegg has more power 654.9 bhp infact. it's faster by around 42.3mph
even starts faster [0-60]

i live in deutschland (unfortunately) and was talkin to a salesman about an e-class (its not for me thank f*ck). Anyway, he said there was going to be a Brabus tuned Zonda as well as the AMG. Maybe he was lying, but man tha'd be pretty class.

but mercedes investing in that would be kinda risky i would think...mostly cuz only a few zondas are sold each year and if they invest so much they might end up over investing and killing merc

Actually guys, not every Zonda ever produced was AMG powered, they struck a deal with Mercedes in 2001, where AMG provided new engines... The main reason for this was the unreliable old V12 they used in the first year and a half in production. Hey do you find it strange that after ruling the forums on your other site for a couple years, I finally made it over here?

where do you find your stuff? I did not know this. Or I wasn't paying attention.

Keep in mind, this was just for the C12, not the C12S. The deal with Mercedes to supply Pagani with engines for the C12S went all the way back to 1992-93 with the help of Juan Manuel Fangio...

Brabus is seperate than MB, and I thought that AMG engine was exclusive with the Zonda(not to be seperated) but that is a pretty luscious blue!!

The zonda's styling seems a little over-flambouyant.. which runs the risk of dating quickly.

I still think the penultimate supercar is every aspect is the Mclaren F1

cche2052... u talk like a poof... i might kind of agree with u but thats different... mclaren f1 in my eyes is better... and the c12 as opposed to c12 S was better looking... that split rear spoiler looks crap. and what is with that interior... it belongs in a queer eye apartment, not an italian supercar!!! its saving grace is that engine whic looks great, sounds great and goes like f*ck...
