Unhappy Brakes Squeaking

I recently replaced my rear brake pads on my 93 G20. And now they really seem to squeak allot. It is strange though when I 1st start out after the car sits for a long time they wont squeak after a few stop the squeak and if I stop/use brakes frequently they eventually stop squeaking again. so it seems there is a certain temperature range in which they squeak allot. Anyway my question was, is there anything I can do to prevent this squeaking? I have tried something that is supposed to clean brake parts and that worked for a short time but now they squeak again. It has been about a month since I replaced the pads so I should be past the break in period. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

few things you can do....

make sure it is a good grade pads, brand like raybestos, abex squeaks a lot.
make sure you have shims on the back of the pads, if the new pad doesn't come with shims, clean up the factory one and reuse it.
make sure the back of the pad is lubed.

If you can take the brakes apart again, use sandpaper to sand the surface of the rotor to deglaze it. Sand the surface of the pad as well. 90 percent of the time it can make the noise goes away.

make sure caliper hardwares are decent condition and have good tension to hold the pads tight.

One other thing: See if the pads have any anti-seize compound or "anti-squeal" compound on their backing plates. Sometimes brake squeal is caused by the pad vibrating against the caliper piston(s).
