Parisienne, 1985 ?

hi everyone new guy here and not a rich one at that

i have this pontiac Parisienne, with a 305 chevy in it and the 700r trans it just hit 100k the car itself is mint in and out what i like to know is what drive lines would replace the one thats in it now with out all the mods , drive shaft ,linkage, so on the trans is all most shot hard shifting 1st 2nd up hard down shift late in drive thanks bob

wrong forum Bob, but here's your answer.

Since your transmission has overdrive and has lasted you 100,000 I'd just get it re-built and have a shift kit put in. Then you don't have to mess with drive shafts, or shift linkage.

It shouldn't cost all that much to have done, and most transmission shops will pick it up from your house, and return it re-built the next day. Some might even have an exchange policy.

With Transmission shops look more at the warranty, not the price... and ask for some customer referances.

And when your engine goes replace it with a 350 built the way you want it.
