i have a 91 rodeo vin z v6 that runs great when cold but when the vehicle warms up it dies. i have tried testing the fuel pump relays, ecm power, ecm ground, fuel pump ground, ignition module, hall effest switch, coil. i cleaned up the grounds on the front and back of the motor and none of this made any difference. the only thing that i noticed when it's about to die ,the tbi injector pulses get erratic and start to fluctuate, then it dies. Can anyone help??? i am at wits end with this truck. :eek7: any help will be much appreciated!!! Thanks,Joe

IT LIVES !!! after a full diagnostic at the local GM garage. i replaced the faulty ignition control module in the distributor about $60 for a quality module and she lives and breathes again. I split the old module open (original GM with 154,500 miles on it) and you could see where it had a break in the circuit, after it got up to operating temperature the wires would seperate and would lose continouity. Mystery solved.

Out of curiosity, were you getting any error codes while this was happening?

Steve
