Re: 1981 Firebird for sale

My e-mail is mwaxoxopunk at yahoo . com
Well right now I am in Michigan but the car is in Jacksonville Florida, and i've been trying to sell it forever. The condition...well. Not working. A piston shot right through the bottom of the car. Right now I am willing ot negotiate on an offer, you tell me what you'd be willing to offer if you still want the car. But I don't know, could be a project car (well if you're willing to buy a whole new engine). Its pretty much been just sitting in my fiancee's parents yard for about 3 years (it is his car, but we're both trying to find buyers). Rust damage, some holes caused by rust, not bad, i don't think. The interior well, i really don't remember, but i htink some mold on the door paneling but not alot. and the seats arent very good don't forget its been sitting in a yard for 3 years. There was a new alternator, i think 2 new tires (well year old now), before the engine shot. I can send some pictures as soon as i find some, but if still interested let me know!!

I am in need of a body more than an engine. My '79 has severe rust damage...floors, around the rear glass, quarter panels, etc. I wouldn't need the motor as I would just swap the body out...if it is worth it that is. Basically I need to know if there are rust spots on any of the floor boards, trunk area, below the rear window glass, or any of the side panels of the body. Surface rust is ok, but cancer that through or bubbling too bad wouldn't be worth the swap.

Um...i will let you know when I find pictures. They are saved on disc, and I have many discs lying around. It shouldn't take more than a few days.
