no more camaros
i am begining to think more and more that chevy wont be coming out with a new camaro, or at least anytime soon, i thought for sure we would see something at the auto show this year, but nothing. today at work i read the new popular hot rodding and a gm guy high up was asked about the new mustang and his response was somthing like "well were coming out with the new 06 monte carlo ss and impala ss to compete with the mustang"
if gm thinks that 2 front wheel drive v8 cars can compete with the mustang, they are sadly mistaken

Re: no more camaros
i can look at all the concept pics that people make, but it dont mean shit until gm says something, and if they are gunning for a 2007 release we would have at least seen a couple pics, if not a pre-production, and when gm is making comments like the monte carlo ss is supposed to compete with the stang i just dont see it happening

Re: no more camaros
GM is tight with their release on pics...Look how long it took to get new Corvette pics. You sure didn't see them 2 years before production. I think the camaro will be back. There is a steel press meeting that shows what companies have planned for the upcoming years and it shows a camaro on the zeta platform planned for 2007. Still no guarantees of course but i think it will be back.

You might have mentioned something before, I get compliments often...it's a great pic for a sig I think. Yeah and I spoke to the guy who took the pics on here I think in the PM about a year ago. He showed me other pics from different angles. It was awesome.

If GM releases a 2007 Camaro it will be awesome, RWD with LS2 400hp and a 6 speed.. cant beat that... But it will seem like it wont be the same
