Something happened to my internet sharing

i had two computers sharing the internet, this one is the host, mine is the client. before i went to work, my connection was fine, both computer were online. but when i got back, my client comp couldnt connect. i pinged both computers back and forth but i cant get a response. all it says is "request timed out" does anyone know what the problem is? im using cable modem with a router. i havent changed anything at all. its the same as it was when it worked earlier. im really mad.

Log into your router via the web and see what's up if it happens again.
