89 golf rattles/burnt rubber smell
The rattle is coming from under the hood on the driver side and it started on the hiway and now is rattling on smaller roads as well. When I park it smells like burning rubber. Oh and the heater has not been working. Could there be a connection? As you can tell I am not so experienced with cars but I am mechanical and would like to give the DIY thing a shot. Thanks for any input at all!!!
