exterior door handle replacemant

Hi all. I have a 91 s-10 blazer and it';s time to replace the door driver and passanger door handles. Anyway i ordered the parts and when i got them i made sure there the right ones. I havnt removed the door panels to verify yet but onth the part i bought itere are two studs where i think two bolts should be. I dont want to remove the door panels to find out i need different parts. What do i need to do? Do i need to threed these studs myself ot what

I bought a new handle assy for my 93 when I bought 2 years ago and wondered the same thing. If yours is the same (pretty sure it is), you don't. The handle is held on by (2) cheapo captive nuts. I did not even need to change mine, it had slipped and would have been OK had I just re tightened. But as it was old i did it anyway. It just loosened again due to severe sticking in ths last cold snap we had, so I will tighten again when warm enough to deal with it. Not a very good quality item......
The nuts simply cut into the studs and tighten down as if they were threaded. Would be nice if there was an aftermarket choice that was better....
