cd player is starting to mess up lately, just starts skipping randomly,, radio works fine though,, problems? fixable?

There is a place on the web that advertises repair for the factory units. I've seen it but i never bookmarked it.

If you can't find it in a search, maybe someone will come up with a link for you.

Done my share of fixing home dvd/ cd players. Most problems can be fixed by cleaning the laser lens, and the tracking rail the lens tracks on. after you clean the rail, apply a razor thin layer of silicone lube (sold In radio shack) It is VERY easy to put too much on.
