carburator choke 350little foot 01-26-2005, 10:31 PM After closing the choke set screw on the left side of the carburator, how many 180 degree rotations do I back out to get the proper rpm idle for cold weather? 3 to 4 turns floods the engine. If I back it out too much, the choke won't set. This is a 1984 Chev. Caprice 350. Thanks. little foot 02-01-2005, 03:37 AM After closing the choke set screw on the left side of the carburator, how many 180 degree rotations do I back out to get the proper rpm idle for cold weather? 3 to 4 turns floods the engine. If I back it out too much, the choke won't set. This is a 1984 Chev.
