wuold a bad cv joint cause steering to pull to one side

lots of stuff may cause your car to pull to one side.
have you tried a alingment first?
your cv would make a clicking sound,and have a bad boot look and see if your boot is bad.
what did you do to your car to cause this?

what do you mean, cv joint went out. sure that would cause steering to pull to one side

Don't put words in my mouth. I didn't say it went out . you asked if a bad cv would cause this? It could if bad enough. start with the easy stuff first . I had said try alingment, this will trouble shoot most of the things that will cause you car to stray. the tech should tell you what is the cause if he checks it out.

So I hope this is a little more clear to understand
