custom exhaust?

does anyone think it would be a good idea? i was thinking of buying some piping (of course the heat resistant kind) and wiggling it back and splitting it giving me dual tail pipes. Does anyone have anything against that before i do it? or any suggestions? should i buy an extra output muffler? also the homemade intakes i was thinking about creating one of those also. im on a 100 dollar budget, i get paid 100 a week at work and 50 goes to gas( i drive alot) 25 a week to insurance (its 100 a month) and then 10 towards the bank account for a new truck with 4wd and the other 15 is in my pocket for things i need. so i instead of a 300 dollar gibson how about a 50 dollar justin? thanks for any input.

Re: custom exhaust?

Ouch, why not save the hundred, and buy some nice clothing, and then start applying for a better paying job. If you like the job they might start paying you more if they think someone will pay you more.

That pipe will either burn through, or rust out quickly.
Here in Canada you can buy exhaust pieces at Canadian Tire and fit them all together for a custom job.

Here's an better option that you can probably afford. Talk to some muffler shops in your area, and ask them if they can build you up that system in exchange for you cleaning the place up. They might teach you some tricks of the trade too.

you could get a base dynomax system for 120$ shipping included...
my friend got the catback high flow with a muffler online....
sounds pretty damn good too........came with all the hardware...
took him about an hour to install.......
i wouldnt mess with pieces and parts....get an inexpensive tuned system like the dynomax....go to there site and hear some sound clips.....might be worth your while..............good luck

btw///i run the dynomax ss.. got it online for $170 ship included...
sounds just like the less expensive dyno turbo....its just a fully welded design...which sould last longer......

On your budget just save and do it right. You'll only be disappointed or
spending your hard earned cash over again
