yeah i just got an h23 from a friend of mine, and im already ordering parts for it. anyways i was wondering if its possible to put in h22 type-s pistons to raise the c.r. same bore and all, the only reason i can see for them to not work is the different stroke the motors have. would this prevent them from working?
or would it just be easier and cheaper to have the head milled? im looking to bring the c.r. to around 11:1. does anyone know how much the head would have to be milled to do this? any help is cool, but i need this done asap, i gotta start school on 2 weeks. thanx.

no, it's not possible, the h22 is a 2.2L and the h23 is a 2.3L, the displacement is different.

i hope you joking 94preludejdm.

type s pistons will bring you cr up to like 12.8 or aroudn there. if you want 11 then get regular usdm h22 pistons because that brings you to around 11

i know that, maybe you should read more carefully before replying. notice what i said about them having different strokes, meaning different displacements. just need answers, not post whoring.

what about the use of a thicker head gasket? you seem to know more than some others (94preludejdm), on this forum.

well idk if its the same with h22/h23s but for like a b series it drops it about .6 or .7 cr. so if its the same you will still be at about 12.1 cr
