restoring 73vw super beetle convertible

1st, I would like suggestions as to who to buy replacement parts from. Are all the discounters I see in VW Trends pretty much equal in quality?
2nd, what's the scoop on brazilian vs german vs china replacement parts. I am going to start the project by replacing the complete brake system, all cylinders, all lines, master cylinder, which includes installing disc brakes on the front. The car has a lazy brake peddle, will also replace the peddles and emergency brale handle. SAFETY FIRST.

All the parts are the same, its just chineese and mexican parts are cheaper. im pretty sure that they are the same quality its just that some people want their bugs to only have german parts.

It's been my experience that you get what you pay for. Mexican, Brazilian and Chinese VW parts tend to be cheaper, but so does the quality of the parts.

I made the mistake of using cheap window rubber on my bug and it deteriorated within 6 months. Replaced with German seals and they still look like new after 4 years.

Spend the money once on good German parts instead of 2 or 3 times on cheap junk.
