intalling speakers

i need help removing the side panel to install 3-way speakers. if ny1 knows what im talkin about plz help and explain how.

i got it finally it was a b****!!!!!! speakers are great. if ny1 needs help with installing speakers on a 97 contour i cud run u thru it.

yeah, its pretty straight forward. Ive never taken off the back panels, but im sure its pretty similar. Just pop off the screw caps and undo the screws on the door panel. If memory serves theres 2 underneath the doorpanel, 2 on the side, 1 behind the defroster vent, 1 in the door latch, and 1 behind the 1 handle cover. Then just unclip the 2 electrical clips and it pulls right off.

Your memory is correct.. thats exactly what there is. they back panels are also they same. i did mine on my 95 like 2 months ago. very easy.

i just had a really hard time getting the first door panal in the front off. then it was ez the rest of the way.
