2003 Silverado, 6 blower resistors in 2 months

Yea i have gone thru 6 blower motor resistors in the last 2 months. Works for a couple days than the fan only runs on high. Very annoying considering how cold it is here right now. I take it to the dealer, and thats all they do is change the resistor. Clearly there is something else wrong, what is it?

I agree about the blower motor drawing too much current. It is possible that it is seizing up , the one in my Silverado did the same thing BUT the guys at the garage were smart enough to check the blower motor although i wish they didn't.........somewhere around $190 i think it was just for the blower motor assmembly , dealer only item and i have a 2000.
