Unhappy Milky Radiator fluid Help

I have a 1989 Chev Celebrity with a 2.8 engine and a automatic tranny.

The radiator fluid has become extremely milky looking. I've seen milky engine oil from bad heads, but never milky radiator fluid.

Since both the engine oil and transmission oil look fine, I'm thinking I have a internal leak in the radiator, letting the transmission oil cooling part of the rad, leak into the antifreeze part.
Anyways, I'm just guessing here.....anyone had this problem before....any suggestions??????

Re: Milky Radiator fluid Help

You have a leak inside the radiator. You will need to replace it and then flush the coolant and the tranny.

Thanks for the reply public.

A internal rad leak is what I'm hoping it is. Better then a cracked head.

Is there anyway I can make sure its a bad rad, before replacing it?

Re: Milky Radiator fluid Help

Remove it and pressure test it. Air will leak out the tranny section if there is such a leak.
