Throttle Body spacer

Hey guys quick question...wanna buy a throttle body but there are like 5 different kinds to choose from so who has them and which do you think is best?

do you mean throtle body spacer like the heading says? If that is What you meant I have an airaid poweraid spacer and it seem to be alright. I bought it because it was about the cheapest I could find. Hope I helped.

hey

i dont have on but when i was thinking of getting one a couple yr's ago after some research i found thread that the guys had said after install dyno test the truck and they lost HP an torque so do lots of research check chevt truck world forums and do a search...good luck

IMO, just a really expensive paperweight. I think the only way it will give you power is if you machine out a small hole on the side of it, and screw in a jet for a wetshot.(That's what I'm going to be using it for. )

bought an airaid drove 600 mi. trip did not do anything special no power or increase in gas milage so i took it off.
also had a whitsle in the intake that was loud drove me up the wall !!!!!!

I am totally with you on these spacers. For fuel injection air is air and no matter what direction the air is going into the intake. You can only pull in air that the engine wants unless you force it with a turbo and stuff.

But for a carb a spacer works since it allows the gas longer time to mix and if you have a lean side it will richen that side up but you must use a spacer that is really one big one not 4 little holes.

but for fuel injection the injectors are on the intake port so there is no way this will help.
